6.Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park is situated  in the Golaghat and Nagaon districts of Assam. Kaziranga National park  is home to a wide range of wildlife species. This park was  established in 1905 as a forest reserve, later declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1950 and a national park in 1974. In 1985, it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique ecosystem and wildlife conservation efforts. Two-thirds of the world's Great One-horned Rhinoceroses lives in this park.
