Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive Singapore

    Straight into the city. Merlion Park on the waterfront, then Gardens by the Bay, where the Supertree Grove stands over the bay as a set of vertical gardens that light up after dark.

  2. Day 2Sentosa Island

    A full day on Sentosa — Universal Studios if rides are your thing, or the beaches, the boardwalk and the rest of the island if they are not.

  3. Day 3Night Safari / River Wonders

    An evening at the Night Safari, the world's first nocturnal zoo, where the park opens after dark and the animals are actually awake — or River Wonders next door if you would rather.

  4. Day 4Departure

    Orchard Road for whatever is left on the list, then Changi, which is the only airport anyone recommends arriving early for.
