Day by day

  1. Day 1Arrive Bangkok, transfer to Pattaya

    Met at Bangkok and driven down to Pattaya, the evening left open for the beach road and whatever you make of it.

  2. Day 2Coral Island Tour

    Speedboat out to Coral Island, where the water turns properly turquoise and the sand is white. Watersports if you want them. An evening free for Walking Street, or the Alcazar show, which is spectacle done without apology.

  3. Day 3Pattaya to Bangkok

    Safari World & Marine Park or the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden — five hundred acres of sculpted gardens and orchid houses — on the way back up to Bangkok.

  4. Day 4Bangkok City Tour

    Bangkok properly. The Grand Palace, gold and glass mosaic in every direction; Wat Pho and its forty-six-metre Reclining Buddha; and a floating market where the boats do the selling.

  5. Day 5Shopping & Departure

    MBK or Platinum Mall for whatever is left on the list, then the airport.
