Day 1Arrive Denpasar
Straight from Denpasar to a private pool villa, welcome drinks in hand, and the rest of the day yours.
Day 2Ubud Tour
Ubud at its own pace — the Tegalalang rice terraces stepping down the valley, the Monkey Forest under its canopy, and the art market in town.
Day 3Kintamani & Temples
The volcano viewpoint at Kintamani, Batur in its caldera with the lake below, then the water temple at Tirta Empul.
Day 4Leisure & Candlelight Dinner
A day with nothing in it at all. A candlelit dinner by the beach to end it, with the sound of the water doing most of the work.
Day 5Uluwatu Temple & Kecak Dance
Uluwatu at sunset, a temple on a cliff a hundred metres above the sea, and then the Kecak Fire Dance — a hundred men chanting in a ring by firelight, which is not a performance you watch politely.
Day 6Departure
Transfer to the airport for the flight home.
