Bomdila is a small town that is located in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Bomdila is is settled amongst the mighty Himalayan Peak with a height of 2,530 m from sea level.  The city is endowed with the beauty of nature in the form of lush green valleys, and streams. How to reach

By Air: Tezpur in Assam is the nearest airport to reach Bomdila (160kms).Another airport is Guwahati international airport which is about 261 kms from Bomdila.

By Rail: Nearest railway stations are at  Rangapara North railway station which is around 143 kms away.You can either take a taxi or bus to Bomdila from here.

By Road: Bomdila  is well connected by road. Tawang (167 km), Tezpur (162 km) and Guwahati (264 km) are few places which are near Bomdila. You can also travel by hiring a taxi and shared cab.Regular bus services also  link Bomdila with Tawang and Tezpur.

Lower Gompa:Lower Gompa is a beautiful Monestery located in the Arunachal.It was built by Tsona Gontse Rinpoche in the year of 1965.The visiting time of the Lower Gompa Bomdila is flexible. You can visit the monastery anytime. The monastery visiting time is from 8 am to 8 pm.

Bomdila view point: Bomdila view point is one of the best attractions of Bomdila.. From the top, you can also behold the beautiful landscape around Nechipu Pass. Apart from that, you can also witness the roads going to Bhutan and Tawang.

Bomdila craft centre and ethnographic centre: One of the best places to visit in Bomdila to experience the culture and traditions of the region is seeing the Ethnographic Museum and the Craft Centre.It is located in the heart of the town near Lower Gompa.
